Welcome to Thundermuffin.com
I plan on using the site for some of my current interests; they include graphics, gaming, and computers. This is the second build of Thundermuffin.com, the original was made using HTML 4.1 and relied heavily on the use of tables for the layout and design. This time I decided to build it using XHTML 1.0 and CSS. This way instead of using tables, the content was placed into division tags and the style sheets allowed for customiziation.
Another difference in this version of Thundermuffin.com is that instead of using GIF and JPEG format for my graphics and images, I'm using the PNG format. The main drawback to using PNG images is that older versions of Internet Explorer (IE 6 and below) do not show the transparency of the images. If you are using Internet Explorer 6 or older (My website statistics show that about 35% of my visitors are) I would recommend, for improved functionality and security, upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 or even better ... GET FIREFOX!
I have created a section called "Gaming" which has information on the games I am playing or trying out at the time. These will mostly contain FPS games. There will be a brief description for each, except for demos or betas which will all be compiled into one big paragraph.
One of my hobbies is creating graphics. The "Graphics" section contains some of my favorite graphics that I have created. All of the signatures and graphics on this website were made using "The GIMP", which is a free graphics program.
